A ‘three-in-one’ crystal of coordination networks

Abstract

Three types of coordination polymers are formed together in one crystal when a linear bifunctional ligand of length 15.7 Å is reacted with Cd(NO3)2 in the presence of mesitylene or m-xylene or o-xylene, which is also included in the crystal as a guest.
