Novel highly symmetrical cube-shaped cation with 16-nitrogen donors

Abstract

A novel highly symmetrical cube-shaped trication [C36H75N16]3+ with 16-nitrogen donors is achieved via self-assembly in which two water molecules were clathrated within the cavity of the framework.
