Metallo-phosphorylation of olefins: reaction of diethyl chlorophosphate with zirconocene–ethylene complex

Abstract

Zirconoceneethylene complex Cp2Zr (CH2=CH2) reacted with chlorophosphate to form zircono-ethylphosphonate, which could be converted into various functionalized ethylphosphonates.
