The crystal structure and physical properties of β-(BDA-TTP)2FeCl4 [BDA-TTP = 2,5-bis(1,3-dithian-2-ylidene)-1,3,4,6-tetrathiapentalene]

Abstract

The title charge-transfer (CT) salt exhibits metallic conducting behavior with a metal-to-insulator (MI) transition at 113 K, and its magnetic properties reveal that it is an antiferromagnet below the Néel temperature, TN = 8.5 K.
