Development of acidic sites in WOx/ZrO2

Abstract

Evidence is shown of the appearance of Brønsted acidic sites in WOx/ZrO2 at a given W loading and of a direct correlation between the abundance of ‘strong’ Brønsted acidic sites in these catalysts and propan-2-ol decomposition activity.
