The first isolable dialkyl iodophosphates

Abstract

The synthesis and characterization of the first dialkyl iodophosphates to be isolated in a pure state is described; (CF3CH2O)2P(O)I and [(CF3)2CHO]2P(O)I have electronegative fluoro-ester groups and can be distilled under vacuum.
