Preparation of π-conjugated polymer-protected gold nanoparticles in stable colloidal form

Abstract

π-Conjugated polymer-protected gold nanoparticles of narrow size distribution in stable colloidal form have been prepared via reduction of HAuCl4 by a π-conjugated poly(dithiafulvene) having electron donating properties.
