Solution-free methods for the determination of the molecular mass distribution of polymers

Abstract

The known methods for the assessment of the molecular mass distribution of bulk polymers are considered. These are based on the analysis of the melt flow curves, the frequency dependence of the relaxation modulus, the shape of the free induction decay curve (pulse nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy) and the temperature dependence of compliance in the region of the rubbery elasticity plateau (thermomechanical analysis). The bibliography includes 121 references.
