From the observed regularity that for certain substituents the ΔΔHf0 values for Me.;→RCH2. free radicals and CH2=CH2%rarr;RCH=CH2 molecules are nearly identical, new or corrected values for the enthalpies of formation were estimated for about 30 gaseous free radicals and molecules.
