Abstract

The first heptamethylcycloheptatrienyl (CHT*) complexes [(η5-C7Me7)W(CO)3(NCR)][BF 4] (R = Me, Et) and [(η5-C7Me7)W(CO)3I] have been prepared from [(C7Me7)BF4].
