Transannular Interactions and Reactions of the Dithia[3.3]metacyclophanediazonium Salt

Abstract

The transannular interaction between two aromatic rings of the dithia[3.3]metacyclophanediazonium salt is evaluated by several spectral measurements and the dediazoniation of the salt preferentially affords the biphenyl compound.
