Abstract

Synthesis of the new macrocycle 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclo-tetradecane-2,3-dione [exo02]cyclam and its complexation with copper(II) ion via the tetraaza groups and linkd together through a copper(II) ion coordinated to the exo-cis oxygen donors of each macrocycle.
