An unprecedented κ2N,H bonding mode for a hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borato ligand

Abstract

An unprecedented κ2N,H bonding mode for a hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borato (TpMe2,4-Cl) ligand is observed in [Rh(CO)(PMePh2)2(TpMe2,4-Cl)]; the complex, which features two dangling pyrazole rings and a B–(µ-H)–Rh agostic bond, is highly fluxional in solution.
