Abstract

The synthesis and crystal structure of the Yb(II) half-sandwich complex [{(η5-C5Me4)SiMe2OSiMe2(η1-O)}Yb(thf)]2 containing the new linked tetramethylcyclopentadienyl-silanolate ligand C5Me4SiMe2OSiMe2O2– are reported.
