A heterodinuclear macrocyclic complex containing both nickel(II) and palladium(II) ions

Abstract

The first heterodinuclear macrocyclic Schiff base complex containing both first- and second row transition metal ions, [NiPdL](ClO4)2·3MeCN has been synthesised and characterised by spectroscopic methods; the X-ray structure of this complex and its mononuclear precursor are reported.
