Ethylene polymerization over chromium complexes grafted onto MCM-41 materials

Abstract

Chromium acetylacetonate [Cr(acac)3] complexes have been grafted onto the surface of Al-MCM-41 materials and were characterised by combined DRS–EPR spectroscopies and TGA; these materials were found to be active for the polymerisation of ethylene.
