Titanium-substituted zeolite beta: an efficient catalyst in the oxy-functionalisation of cyclic alkenes using hydrogen peroxide in organic solvents

Abstract

In the presence of Ti-Beta, hydrogen peroxide and an alcohol, cyclic alkenes are converted to glycol monoethers with excellent chemo- and stereo-selectivity.
