Alkenyl O- and C-glycopyranoside homodimerization by olefin metathesis reaction

Abstract

Using ruthenium-catalyzed olefin metathesis, several O- and C-allyl and O-pentenyl D-galactopyranoside and lactoside homodimers were prepared in high yields.
