On the mechanism of the synergistic oxidation of saturated hydrocarbons and hydrogen sulfide under Gif conditions

Abstract

It is demonstrated by a study of cyclohexane phenylselenation that the synergistic oxidation of cyclohexane with H2S and O2 does not involve carbon or oxygen radicals.
