Selective formation of HCO 2– and C 2O 42– in electrochemical reduction of CO 2 catalyzed by mono- and di-nuclear ruthenium complexes
Abstract
Electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide catalyzed by mono- and di-nuclear ruthenium complexes produced HCO 2H with trace amounts of CO and C 2O 4 2– in the presence and absence of H 2O, respectively, in MeCN.
