Clathrates of the [Cu(pyridine)4(NO3)2]
Abstract
The clathrate nature of the compounds in the series [M(py) 4X2]·2py (py=pyridine) is proved chemically by substituting non-bonded pyridine in [Cu(py)4(NO3)2]·2py by using benzene, tetrahydrofuran and chloroform.
