A sulfur nitrogen triple, double and single bond in one ligand: synthesis and structure of [Co{N[triple bond, length as m-dash]SF2–N[double bond, length as m-dash]S(O)F2} 4][AsF6]2·SO2

Abstract

NSF 2 NS(O)F 2 reacts quantitatively with [Co(SO 2 ) n ][AsF 6 ] 2 to give [Co{N[triple bond, length as m-dash]SF 2 –N[double bond, length as m-dash]S(O)F 2 } 4 ][AsF 6 ] 2 ·SO 2 ; X-ray structure analysis confirms the presence of a triple, double and single bond in the same ligand.
