Formation of a tetrahedral Tl4 cluster directed by a novel homoscorpionate ligand

Abstract

The thallium complex of a novel ligand, hydrotris(3-cyclopropylpyrazol-1-yl)borate, forms a stable tetramer, [Tl(Tp Cpr )] 4 , containing a perfect tetrahedron of Tl atoms, with each Tl in an octahedral environment.
