Synthesis of a new titanosilicate: an analogue of the mineral penkvilksite

Abstract

A new titanosilicate which is a structural analogue of the mineral penkvilksite, is obtained from SiO 2 –TiO 2 –Na 2 O–H 2 O–(TMA) 2 O and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), TGA, SEM, 29 Si CP MAS NMR, ion exchange and adsorption measurements.
