Abstract

A new type of one-dimensional aluminophosphate polymer chain is found for [H 3 NCH 2 CH 2 NH 3 ][AlP 2 O 8 H] containing fused Al 2 P 2 four-membered rings, with terminal PO 4 H side-groups.
