Insertion of arylsulfonylnitrene fragments into Pd–Pd bonds. Crystallographic characterization of the novel [Pd2Cl2(µ-dppm)2(µ-NSO2 C6H4NO2-2)] A-frame adduct

Abstract

The dimeric palladium complex [Pd 2 Cl 2 (µ-dppm) 2 ] reacts with arylsulfonyl azides affording novel arylsulfonylnitrene-bridged dinuclear A-frame complexes, [Pd 2 Cl 2 (µ-dppm) 2 (µ-NSO 2 Ar)].
