115Sn NMR spectroscopy: a useful satellite pattern assignment method in gem-distannyl compounds

Abstract

115 Sn and 119Sn2NMR parameters of diastereotopic tins in model gem-distannyl compounds of the type Sn2CHR are presented. The use of 115Sn NMR INEPT experiments provides a useful simplification of spectral analysis, resulting in a complete elimination of higher-order homonuclear satellite patterns.
