tert-Butoxylimido derivatives of niobium

Abstract

The synthesis and crystal structure of the η-cyclopentadienylniobium compound [Nb(η-C5H5)Cl2(NOBut)], which contains the first example of the terminal transition metal–alkoxylimide ligand system M[double bond, length half m-dash]N–OR, is reported along with some preliminary reactivity studies.
