Three-dimensional coordination networks from tricyanomelamine and CoII, NiII, CuII and CdII

Abstract

Crystals of composition [M(Htcmel)]·3H2O (M = Co, Ni, Cu, Cd; H3tcmel = tricyanomelamine) contain sheets of hydrogen-bonded pairs of essentially planar ligands cemented together by metal centres to give a three-dimensional coordination network.
