Rigid carbon–polymer biocomposites for electrochemical sensing. A review
Abstract
This paper reviews the use of biocomposite materials in the construction of amperometric biosensors. These rigid composites are formed by dispersing graphite particles in assorted polymers (especially epoxy resins). These composites are bulk-modified biologically (adding enzymes and cofactors) and chemically (blending mediators and catalysts).
