SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
The total synthesis of (+)-compactin 1 has been achieved by employing a double Michael reaction of (R)-1-acetyl-3-(tert-butyldimethylsiloxy)cyclohexene 16 with methyl crotonate as the key reaction.
