Coadsorption of xenon and carbon monoxide in cadmium-exchanged zeolite Y studied with 129Xe NMR spectroscopy

Abstract

The adsorption isotherm and 129Xe NMR chemical shifts of xenon in 68% cadmium-exchanged zeolite NaY in the presence of carbon monoxide were measured. The data obtained can be explained quantitatively in terms of ideal binary adsorption on cation sites.
