Guest-induced assembly of a chiral [2 + 2] metallomacrocycle

Abstract

A chiral metallomacrocycle, assembled from two zinc(II) ions and two strands of ligand L1, and stabilized by inclusion of o-dimethoxybenzene in the cavity, is characterized by NMR spectroscopy.
