First example of an antibody-catalysed hetero-Diels–Alder reaction

Abstract

Two transition-state directed antibodies catalyse a Diels–Alder reaction between a 1,3-diene and an arylnitroso dienophile; one of the antibodies shows a good rate enhancement (kcat/kuncat= 1205) and steers the reaction in favour of the targeted isomeric adduct.
