β-Correction spectrophotometry for composition determination of chelated copper(II) with its complexans
Abstract
The reactions of copper(II) with dithizone, PAN, XO, PAR, alizarin red S and chrome azurol S have been utilized for the determinations of both excess colorant and the complexation ratios by β-correction spectrophotometry. It is the first to be developed and the results are more acceptable than those obtained with other traditional methods: the method is simple and easy to use.
