Abstract

As part of a study on the applicability of catalytic enantioselective cis-dihydroxylation for the synthesis of dihydropyrano- and dihydrofurano-anellated coumarins new routes to (–)-cis-khellactone 1b, (–)-trans-khellactone 1c and rutartein 4 have been developed.
