Determination of some electrical parameters for UO2(O3PC6H5) films deposited on a porous support

Abstract

The electrical behaviour of a uranyl phenylphosphonate (UPP) film in electrolyte media has been studied by impedance spectroscopy, salt diffusion and concentration potential and some electrochemical parameters such as cation transport number, salt diffusion coefficient and ionic permeability in the film were determined. The equivalent circuits associated with the film and the film/electrolyte interface, which consist of a parallel association of a non-ideal capacitor, were also obtained. Both parameters were calculated when the generating precipitate solutions UO2(NO3O)2 and H2O3PC6H5, were bathing the UPP film. Concentration dependence of all these parameters were also considered.
