Excess volumes of the ternary mixtures butylamine–cyclohexane–benzene and tributylamine–cyclohexane–benzene
Abstract
Excess volumes of the ternary mixtures butylamine–cyclohexane–benzene and tributylamine–cyclohexane–benzene at 298.15, 303.15 and 313.15 K have been investigated from density measurements using a vibrating densitometer. A number of empirical equations predicting ternary mixture properties from the composite binary parameters have been examined. Furthermore, the Prigogine–Flory–Patterson theory has been extended for ternary mixtures and is applied to the present ternary mixtures.
