Re6S12, a new binary rhenium cluster chalcogenide

Abstract

Topotactic oxidation of Na4Re6S12 at ambient temperature results in the formation of the new binary cluster chalcogenide Re6S12 that is able to react as a (4 + 2) electron-transfer host lattice.
