Tri-tert-butylsubphthalocyaninatophenylboron(III) is synthesized from phthalodinitrile and triphenylboron, whereby a mixture of two structural isomers is obtained; these isomers, with C3- and C1-symmetry, are separated by HPLC and characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy.
