Palladium(0), copper(I) catalysed synthesis of conjugated alkynyl α-allenols from alkynyl cyclic carbonates and terminal alkynes

Abstract

Alkynyl cyclic carbonates react with terminal alkynes and prop-2-ynylic alcohols in the presence of catalytic amounts of Pd(PPh3)4 and CuI to selectively afford functional conjugatged alkynyl α-allenols in good yields.
