Crystal structure of ferrocenophanyllithium: absence of an intramolecular C–H ⋯C hydrogen bond

Abstract

The previously inferred intramolecular [C–H–C] hydrogen bond in ferrocenophanyllithium from 1H NMR chemical shifts in solution is found to be absent in the solid state.
