Formation of nitrosyl-iron(II)β-oxoporphyrin π-cation radical complexes. Models for a reaction intermediate of dissimilatory nitrite reductases
Abstract
One-electron oxidation of nitrosyl-iron(II)β-oxoporphyrin complexes, models for haem d1, with silver hexafluoroantimonate yields the corresponding π-cation radicals, characterized by electronic absorption and IR spectroscopies.
