Novel N-succinimidyl and N-sulfosuccinimidyl organotungsten reagents for the labelling of biological systems

Abstract

New organotungsten reagents bearing a N-succinimidyl or N-sulfosuccinimidyl ester function have been prepared, specifically coupled with amines, amino acids and proteins and provide a promising basis for the preparation of heavy metal lablelling agents designed for X-ray structural analysis of biological systems.
