Electrode function of selective membranes for anions of phthalic acid isomers

Abstract

The characteristics of electrodes with pseudo-liquid membranes selective for phthalic acid isomers are presented. It is shown that the properties of these electrodes are dependent both on ion-exchange equilibria formed at the interface and determined by the acid–base equilibria and on the composition of the complexes formed in the membrane phase. The basic analytical parameters of these electrodes were determined and their dependence on pH was shown.
