Determination of low levels of nitrogen oxides in gas streams by high-performance liquid chromatographic determination of the Saltzman complex

Abstract

The use of high-performance liquid chromatography is described as an alternative analytical finish to the Saltzman method for the determination of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by the formation of a diazonium salt. This method can be applied to the determination of NOx in the range 1–50 ppb v/v in hydrocarbon gas stream matrices
