Electrochemical synthesis of neutral complexes with N2SO tetradentate ligands

Abstract

The electrochemical synthesis and physicochemical properties of neutral divalent transition-metal complexes of reduced N2SO Schiff-base ligands are reported. The reduction of the imine bond provides novel flexible ligands whose complexes have geometries differing from those derived from the unreduced Schiff bases.
