Lipophilic metal (Na, TiIII ZrIV, Rh1 and PdII) complexes derived from the hybrid ligands -or and hor (R = Me2PCH2CBut2); the X-ray structures of [t[graphic ommitted]Me2)2] and trans-[R[graphic ommitted]H)2]

Abstract

From crystalline [Li(µ-OCBu^t₂CH₂PMe₂)₂]₂[Li(µ-OR)₂] the following crystalline pentane-soluble derivatives have been obtained: ROH 1[T[graphic ommitted]R)₂] and [Zr(η-C₅H₅)₂CI(OR)]4; 1 is a source of the similarly lipophilic crystalline [N[graphic ommitted])]₂ and trans-[R[graphic ommitted])₂], and 4 of the heterotrimetallic complexes trans-[M(CO)_n CI_{2_n}{(RO)Zr(η-C₅H₅)₂CI}₂](M Rh and n 1 or M Pd andn 0).
