Lipophilic metal (Na, TiIII ZrIV, Rh1 and PdII) complexes derived from the hybrid ligands -or and hor (R = Me2PCH2CBut2); the X-ray structures of [t[graphic ommitted]Me2)2] and trans-[R[graphic ommitted]H)2]

Abstract

From crystalline [Li(µ-OCBut2CH2PMe2)2]2[[triple bond, length half m-dash]Li(µ-OR)2] the following crystalline pentane-soluble derivatives have been obtained: ROH 1[T[graphic ommitted]R)2] and [Zr(η-C5H5)2CI(OR)]4; 1 is a source of the similarly lipophilic crystalline [N[graphic ommitted])]2 and trans-[R[graphic ommitted])2], and 4 of the heterotrimetallic complexes trans-[M(CO)n CI2_n{(RO)Zr(η-C5H5)2CI}2](M [double bond, length half m-dash] Rh and n[double bond, length half m-dash] 1 or M [double bond, length half m-dash] Pd andn[double bond, length half m-dash] 0).
