An account of kinetic determinations and other kinetic aspects of analytical chemistry: from Córdoba to Erlangen

Abstract

Using as reference the biennial fundamental reviews in the journal Analytical Chemistry, an account of kinetic-based determinations and other kinetic aspects of analytical chemistry is presented for the period 1983–1992. The critical account presented is focused on how kinetics has maintained its vitality in analytical chemistry, and how the field has evolved from the First International Symposium on Kinetics in Analytical Chemistry (Córdoba, Spain, September, 1983) up to the Fourth Symposium in Erlangen, Germany (September, 1992)
