Structure of USbO5: powder neutron diffraction study

Abstract

The crystal structure of USbO5[space group P[> with combining macron], a= 6.4923(4)Å, b= 7.5554(4)Å, c= 5.4550(5)Å, α= 110.174(8)°, β= 126.619(5)°, γ= 89.99(1)°, Z= 2] was determined by Rietveld analysis of powder neutron diffraction data. It resembles UVO5 in its intralayer arrangement but differs in the stacking of the layers.
